Refund Policy
Due to the nature of the products, all sales are final unless stated otherwise on the sales page.
What counts as course progress?
If you click on a course lesson, it counts as progress towards the course even if you didn't watch the lesson that's inside.
What counts as watching a lesson?
If you click inside of a course lesson, it counts as watching it. Even if you didn't actually watch the lesson, i.e., clicked play on the video player that's inside.
Example
- You bought the course on March 7th, 1993.
- The course has 100 lessons.
- The course refund policy states on the sales page that "in 14 days, if you complete less than 20% of the course and are not 100% happy with your experience, you can get back every dollar you paid.".
That means if it's later than March 20th, 1993, OR you have clicked on more than 20 lessons inside of the course, then you're NOT eligible for a refund. Even if you actually watched 15 lessons. Clicking on a lesson is what's used to track course progression, not watching a lesson.
Why is course progress tracked like this?
Since the course lessons are hosted on YouTube, there is no way to track what the user does once they click inside of a course lesson. There's no way to track whether a user actually watches a lesson or not. That's why course progress is tracked when a user clicks inside of a lesson, not when they actually watch the lesson that's inside.
